Use Biot-Savart law to derive the expression for the magnetic field on the axis of a current carrying circular loop of radius R. Draw the magnetic field lines due to a circular wire carrying current. Let us consider a circular loop of radius a with centre C. Let the plane of the coil be perpendicular to the plane of the paper and current I be flowing in the direction shown. Suppose P is any point on the axis at direction r from the centre. Let us consider a current element dl on top (L) where, current comes out of paper normally whereas at bottom (M) enters into the plane paper normally. Now, magnetic field at P due to current element at L according to Biot-Savart Law, Magnetic field due to Circular wire carrying current I.

ডপলার ক্রিয়া

আমরা বিজ্ঞান পড়ি ঠিকই কিন্তু বিজ্ঞানের বিষয়গুলো ভালভাবে বুঝতে পারি না। ডপলার ক্রিয়া বা ডপলার ইফেক্ট বিষয়টি পদার্থ বিজ্ঞানের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়। অথচ অনেক শিক্ষকেরা পর্যন্ত বিষয়টি ঠিকভাবে বুঝেন না। তাই স্টুডেন্টদেরকেও শুধু পড়িয়ে ছলিমবুঝ দিয়ে থাকেন। উৎস এবং পর্যবেক্ষকের মধ্যকার আপেক্ষিক গতির কারণে কোন তরঙ্গ-সংকেতের  কম্পাঙ্ক  পরিবর্তিত হয়ে যাওয়ার ঘটনাকে  ডপলার ক্রিয়া   Doppler Effect ) বলা হয়। ক্রিস্টিয়ান আনড্রেয়াস ডপলার  এর নামে এই ক্রিয়াটির নামকরণ করা হয়েছে। ডপলার নীতির সব চাইতে সুন্দর উদাহরণ হচ্ছে প্লাটফর্ম-এর ট্রেন। ট্রেন যখন তার ঝিকঝিক হুইসেল বাজিয়ে স্টেশনে আসে তখন আমাদের কাছে এর হুইসেলের তীব্রতা বৃদ্ধি পায়। এটার স্বাভাবিক কারণ হচ্ছে ট্রেন থেমে থাকলে যে সমস্ত তরঙ্গ একটি নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায় থাকতো চলন্ত অবস্থায় এই তরঙ্গের দৈর্ঘ্য বৃদ্ধি পায়। ফলে উৎস এক সেকেন্ডে যে কম্পাঙ্ক উৎপন্ন করে শ্রোতা তার বেশী কম্পাঙ্ক শুনতে পায় এক সেকেন্ডে। আবার ট্রেন যখন স্টেশন থেকে দূরে চলে যায় তখন হুইসেলের তীব্রতা কমে যায়। কারণ, তখন শ্রোতার নিকট উৎস দূরে চলে যাওয়াতে একটি
